In the context of cinema, bilingualism serves as a social reflection, a narrative tool, and even a cultural strategy. This is important for understanding how language can reinforce and preserve cultural values in popular media. This research aims to analyze the phenomenon of bilingualism in the form of Arabic code switching and code mixing within Indonesian language speech in the film Negeri 5 Menara. This film was chosen because it explicitly portrays life in an Islamic boarding school. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method. The data consists of transcriptions of Indonesian speech that include Arabic code switching and code mixing. The data source for this research is the film Negeri 5 Menara, directed by Affandi Abdul Rachman. Data collection techniques include listening and transcription. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion. The conclusion of this study reveals the phenomenon of bilingualism in this film, manifested in the form of external code switching and code mixing, as also observed in the novel. External code-switching from Indonesian to Arabic yielded 8 instances, consisting of words, phrases, and clauses, while outer code mixing within Indonesian speech resulted in 23 instances, comprising 14 words, four phrases, 3 clauses, and one blended form. In this context, the Learn Arabic Online platform has emerged as a digital educational tool aimed at enhancing students' ability to master Arabic vocabulary. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the Learn Arabic Online platform as an educational tool for improving Arabic vocabulary mastery among tenth-grade students at Al-Ghazali High School in Arosbaya, Bangkalan, by analyzing students' experiences, perceptions, and challenges while using the platform. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach to collect data through observations, documentation, and in-depth interviews with several tenth-grade students who participated in vocabulary learning through the platform. The data was analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s data analysis method, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Learn Arabic Online platform significantly helped students improve their mastery of Arabic vocabulary. Students reported that the interactive features and educational materials provided through the platform effectively supported their learning process. However, some challenges were identified, such as the lack of direct interaction with the teacher and the need for high levels of self-discipline. Both integrate Arabic language learning tailored to their respective focuses and objectives. This study explores the differences in Arabic learning methods and strategies between salaf and modern boarding schools using a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation and interviews. Findings reveal that salaf boarding schools prioritize maharoh qiro’ah (reading skills) to enhance understanding of Arabic texts, particularly classical Islamic sources such as al-kitab and as-sunnah, employing methods like grammar analysis (qowa’id) and translation. Conversely, modern boarding schools focus on maharoh kalam (speaking skills) to develop Arabic as a communication tool, utilizing the direct method (mubasyaroh) and strategies such as displaying vocabulary around dormitory spaces. This study aims to: 1) learn about the use of the book of Yassarna in improving Arabic reading skills in the learning of Arabic in the As-Salafiyah alhamidiyah cottage. 2) Learn the ability of students to read Arabic texts in the teaching of the Arabic language in the As-Salafiyah alhamidiyah cottage. 3) Learn of the supportive and inhibitory factors of using the Book of Yassarna in enhancing Arabic text skills in Arabic learning in As-Salafiyah alhamidiyah cottage. The research uses qualitative methods with descriptive approaches and data collection techniques such as observations, interviews, and documentation. As for the results of the research, (1) the use of the book of Yassarna in developing Arabic text reading skills in the teaching of Arabic in the As-Salafiyah alhamidiyah cottage using fun and interesting material. (2) The process of teaching a pleasant book, understanding by arranging the material according to the chapter, then there will be a test reading the book of Yassarna, repeating if there are errors. (3) There are inhibitory and supportive factors. Some of these factors are from the environment around students, such as teachers, media, methods, and infrastructure. Potential teachers should teach the Yassarna book to new students so that future teachers can master both the material and the methods. This topic was raised to understand how Down Syndrome limitations affect phonological abilities in reciting the Qur'an. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study design. Data were obtained through observation and analysis of recitation recordings to identify phonological errors. The main results of the study indicate that individuals with Down Syndrome tend to experience errors in the form of sound substitutions, letter omissions, and errors in the application of long-short harakat. The causative factors include cognitive limitations, speech motor disorders, and the complexity of Arabic phonology. These findings provide an important contribution to the development of a more inclusive, adaptive, and appropriate Qur'an teaching method for individuals with Down Syndrome. The research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving 30 students divided into two groups: an experimental group applying the Flipped Classroom model and a control group using conventional teaching methods. The findings indicate that the Flipped Classroom model significantly improves students' speaking skills. The t-test analysis revealed a significant difference between the two groups, with p &lt; 0.05. Additionally, the effect size (Cohen's d) shows that Flipped Classroom has a strong impact on Maharah Kalam skills. This study also found that the model not only enhances speaking skills but also boosts students' confidence in communication.
